Turn off sky ?

Hi, Does anybody know how to disable the rendering of the sky in DMC or even if it's possible ?.......on maps like DMZ1 where there is a lot of sky and this slows down the performance of my already slow gfx chip !!.........any help on this would be much appreciated thx.

   i know there used to be one but cant find it anywhere on the web.was it something to do with fastsky_1    or summat.

   i suppose you could alway take a axe to the wad file and hack the textures out. thing thats what i did, if thats any help.
